Denis
Biggerstaff and his wife Anne run a family business
in the townland of Kinallen, near Dromara, Co. Down.
They have two daughters (Leslie-Anne and Trudie) and
one son (Stuart).

Their
shop is a traditional country store with supermarket
prices, providing a full range of fresh fruit and vegetables
as well as a fresh home bakery with breads, cakes and
buns. We are stockists of Fred Elliot's of Banbridge
Fresh Meats and Delicatessen which is available daily.
We also stock a range of convenience coal, turf, blocks
and gas. Opening hours Monday - Friday (7.30am to 10.00pm)
and Saturday (8.00am to 8.00pm).

Denis'
enthusiasm for Motorsport began driving a Mini in local
autocross meetings. From those early days in 1978, Denis
moved on to sprints, hillclimbs and rallycross, which
included cross-channel and European events driving his
Metro 6R4. Along the way he has achieved some notable
successes, which include:
Autocross
Championship
N.I. Sprint Championship
N.I. Hillclimb Championship
N.I. Rallycross Championship
British Rallycross Championship
Six
years ago Denis entered a new discipline in Motorsport
- Rallying in his own in-house prepared Metro 6R4. This
move in his Motorsport career has proved very successful
as he is now twice winner of the Northern Ireland Stage
Rally Championship! Members of the winning team include
chief mechanic Robin McCandless who is married to Joan
with two sons, Christopher and Bryan. Other members
are brother-in-law Gerry and wife Jean who is Sponsorship
Co-ordinator. Damian McCann, otherwise known as 'Specs',
usually keeps Denis on the straight and narrow but a
back injury has resulted in Damian having to sit out
for the remainder of 2003. Derek Brannigan is currently
Denis' co-driver.
